I’m Giovanni Silva, a Los Angeles-based cinematographer, camera operator, and director with six years of experience across narrative, branded, and commercial work.

I’ve shot everything from red carpets and campaigns for brands like Hulu and Disney to fast-moving social content, but narrative storytelling is where I feel most at home. I’m drawn to shorts, features, music videos, and action-driven work that gives me the opportunity to build a world, create a strong visual language, and tell a story through the camera.

I love collaborating with directors, writers, and crews to figure out how to make an idea feel bigger, sharper, and more cinematic. Whether that means finding creative solutions on a tight budget, bringing energy and movement to a music video, or directing with a strong visual point of view, I’m always chasing the same thing: making something beautiful with a team of people who care about the work.
